about

ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
At Renew Animal Assisted Therapy & Counselling, therapy doesn’t happen in a sterile office, it unfolds in a peaceful bushland setting, surrounded by horses, dogs, and nature. Our approach is deeply trauma-informed and grounded in genuine connection, offering a safe, non-judgemental space for people who may not have felt seen or supported in traditional settings.

What sets us apart is the co-therapy of animals and environment. Whether it’s a child with anxiety finding calm alongside a horse, or an adult experiencing depression, every session is shaped by presence, patience, and attunement. We work gently and flexibly, with a heart for supporting neurodivergent individuals, trauma survivors, and anyone needing a quieter way to heal.
We have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism, as well as young people aged 12–25. All services are delivered by a registered allied health professional and are available to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
